NATA, a MO source maker in China, released the announcement for its business performance in 2012, in which, NATA estimated the net profit for 2012 is approximately RMB 90-92m, a decrease of 48.24%-49.36% compared with RMB 17,774.25 in the same period of last year.
NATA said that the demand for MO source outstripped supply and grew fast in 2011,trimethyl gallium, as one of the principal products, maintained a high price which boosted the net profit for 2012. In this announcement, growth of demand for MO source slows but supply increases, in this case, selling price declines, all those factors result in a drop of net profit in 2012 compared with the same period last year.
